Czech Republic

The Czech Republic national football team is governed by the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) and competes in UEFA. The team plays home matches at the Fortuna Arena in Prague and wears red and white.

The Czech Republic has been a consistent presence at European Championships and World Cups since the country's independence in 1993. The team reached the UEFA Euro 1996 final and Euro 2004 semi-finals. As Czechoslovakia, the nation won the 1976 UEFA European Championship and finished as World Cup runners-up in 1934 and 1962.
