Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabia national football team, the Green Falcons, is governed by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and competes in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The team plays home matches at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh and wears green and white.

Saudi Arabia won the AFC Asian Cup three times (1984, 1988, 1996) and has qualified for six FIFA World Cups. One of their most famous results came at the 1994 World Cup, where they reached the round of 16. At Qatar 2022, Saudi Arabia produced a stunning 2-1 victory over eventual champions Argentina in the group stage. Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in football development and domestic league quality.
