Sweden

The Sweden national football team, Blågult (Blue-Yellow), is governed by the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) and competes in UEFA. The team plays home matches at Friends Arena in Solna and wears yellow and blue.

Sweden finished third at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States and has qualified consistently for major tournaments. Zlatan Ibrahimović, Sweden's all-time leading scorer and one of the most prolific strikers in football history, represented the team from 2001 to 2022. Sweden also finished third at the 1950 World Cup and was runner-up in 1958. The team has a strong tradition of producing technical, physical midfielders and forwards.
